Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers jessicabargenquast.com, operated by Jessica Bargenquast, an individual based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Information you provide directly
This site collects information only when you choose to submit it:
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and message.
- Playbook download form. Your name and email address, used to deliver the requested download and, if you don't opt out, to send occasional related emails such as workflow teardowns and service updates.
Both forms are processed by Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored in a Netlify dashboard connected to this site and may be forwarded to the contact email below.
Information collected automatically
This site does not run analytics or advertising scripts today. Ordinary web hosting activity still occurs in the background: Netlify, the host, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and reliability, and this site loads typeface files from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive the requesting device's IP address when a page loads.
Analytics (planned)
Jessica intends to add Google Analytics to this site in the future to understand traffic and improve content. Google Analytics works by placing cookies in your browser and collecting information such as pages viewed, time on site, referring site, and general device and location information. Before that tracking goes live, this policy and the Cookie Notice will be updated with details, including any consent step required in your region.
How information is used
- To respond to messages sent through the contact form.
- To deliver the playbook and, if you haven't unsubscribed, send related emails.
- To keep the site secure and working correctly.
- Once added, to understand how visitors use the site so it can be improved.
Information submitted here is never sold.
Affiliate and referral links
Some outbound links on this site may, now or in the future, be affiliate or referral links to tools and platforms Jessica uses or recommends (for example, project management or marketing software). If you click one of those links and sign up or make a purchase, Jessica may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Recommendations reflect genuine use and opinion regardless of whether a link is an affiliate link.
Third-party services
This site relies on a small number of outside services to operate:
- Netlify, for hosting and form processing. See Netlify's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts, for typefaces. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics (once added) and any affiliate networks Jessica joins, each governed by their own privacy policy.
Data retention
Contact form messages and playbook subscriber information are kept as long as needed to respond to you, maintain the mailing list, or meet legal and accounting obligations, and are deleted on request.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information this site holds about you, or unsubscribe from emails, at any time by emailing hello@jessicabargenquast.com. This applies regardless of where you live, including if you are located in the EU/UK or California.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site does not currently respond differently to that signal, in part because it does not yet run tracking scripts.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes, for example when analytics or affiliate programs are added. The "last updated" date above will change whenever it does.
